"Dog owners, even on the easements, pick up after your dog. The county pocket lacks adequate street maintenance so it is up to the home owners to clean up what is left behind. And no, we don't want to smell what your dog has been cooking. Exercise your dog to your heart's content but turning a street into a dog toilet is not cool. Be kind, don't empty your dog's behind. "
  • Aliy Torres
"The best weather in San Diego County by far!! I lived in a lot of towns throughout SD and this is the most friendly and down to earth place! "
  • Macguard45
"There is plenty of open space and places for dogs to go to the bathroom without feeling paranoid of where they go "
  • Olivia Flynn
"Great place to live, some areas are less crowded and some are more densely packed. Something for everyone "

  • Brittany Ganzel
"There are No side walks in my neighborhood. There are not many dog parks either. There are some areas in vista that are sketch. But my area is nice "
  • lisasimmonds66
"The Vista Hills is a secret sanctuary with big ocean breezes but is close to stores - feels far away in paradise. "
  • Almalovesmonsters

  • David
"Great family neighborhood. We live on the corner of redwood crest and sycamore. Just on he boarder of ocean hills. Surround developments are just as nice!!! Overall great location "
  • Mikko H.
"My neighborhood participates in a 100% crimefree neighborhood and that is why we liked our place here on Bonair Road near foothill and pretty much close to be able to do any errands under the sun. And pretty close to freeway."
  • Kristi A.
"Dog friendly - love everywhere around San Diego. Friendly, social... happy, sunny, fun, friendly, momentum, community... all of it is so enjoyable! "
  • Jeanie.haar

  • Brian B.
"Pockets of incredible communities. Mission vista high school is great - however the other high schools in vista are not very good. "
  • Vt2693
"Dog owners would like that other dog owners pick up their poop in the city of vista. I am not sure what else because I don’t own a dog "
  • Venzor.aa
"Great access to public transportation. Lots of good local shopping. Farmers market by the high school. "

"I live in this neighborhood for four years and love it a lot. People are friendly and look out to help one another. I intend to live here as long as I could."
  • Jean D.
"I have to drive everywhere. There are no sidewalks or bike lanes in the unincorporated area, which people love. But after dark, the danger is real. Not from people, from cars "
  • Voxkristin
"Super close to the transit station, and Vista Village is beautiful. There’s a nice little trail and stream with ducks all over it near the water park and it’s a nice stroll if you like taking the scenic route. The view from the top of the hill at the apartment complex is to die for."
  • Jason B.
"Dogs always welcome and lots of happy friendly dog owners. Lack of dog parks for them to play safely "
  • Christian.malik
"Do not move here. People drive ridiculously fast. Also the security likes to have people’s cars towed with no reason given. 10/10 would not recommend."
  • Jon F.
"I am located across from a high school, next to a golf course, there are shops across the street, and it’s not a bad location but not very private considering I’m living in a multi family apartment neighborhood. "
  • Ashlynn S. W.
"Love vista! Did not grow up here and was originally not very eager to move here but Vista has everything! Didn’t take me a long time to love it here. Highly recommend. Up and coming city for sure. "
  • Jean D.
"Long but all highway. You can get anywhere but you must drive. That gets old but it is very peaceful"
  • Ashlynn S. W.
"Great place! Very friendly and clean. Up and coming town for sure. Love it here and looking to buy a home here after renting. "
  • Nicol S. G.
"I feel vista is unique due to its parks. It also has great restaurants and vista village its a beautiful place full of many things to do for example this cute little pottery place! Additionally to this the beach is not that far away about a 15-20 minute drive."
  • Wesley R.
"june 3rd when the fireworks are done at brengle terrace park. every once in in awhile there are other events as well. "
  • Unspecified
"Hey it’s ok u will enjoy the quiet and bored nature and it’s good to get out and have more expanse to trek, People here like the quiet life, they dislike disruption and noise. They prefer to keep to themselves. They will report suspicious activity and everyone somewhat knows each other. Be careful with high speed There are kids and animals everywhere"
  • Cheyenne R.
"No neighborhood events... there is a lot of crime and drugs in north county vista. A lot of sketchy people due to the train station running through town with the train station we get a lot of homeless and drug dealers not very safe "
  • Olverashawnna
"There are good and bad parts of vista but the bad parts can easily be ignored. there are lots of stores and schools in the area"
  • JH
"Gate communities are the best options, I feel safe within the gated community, but outside I’m a little more cautious. Overall, I feel safe, main concern outside the gate is petty theft. "
  • Lattigkenneth
"my neighborhood has minimal access to public transportation, nearest bus stop is 6 blocks away through areas taken over by homeless."
  • Adriana
"We have a nice residents only clubhouse. There is a pool and spa. Inside the clubhouse, there is a pool table, gym, kitchen and living room. "
  • Jrobertson1031
"There isn’t many events. But the city of Vista does many of its specialty events and parades year round. "
