5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has been the WORST school I have ever had a child of mine attend. Please, feel free to browse the other reviews here, where some happen to be from actual students who were afraid for their safety. It’s very unfortunate to experience extreme unprofessional behavior and communication from the staff, ESPECIALLY from counselors such as Harold Lewis II. I have both witnessed, and experienced for myself, tactics of intimidation and defensiveness during conversation with students and parents, including physical methods. Any inappropriate behavior from students, such as fighting and bullying, is encouraged by counseling staff, as they do not address these issues in an effective and professional manner. FOR YOUR OWN AND YOUR CHILD’S SAFETY, DO NOT BRING THEM TO THIS SCHOOL. Do everything in your power to avoid enrolling them in this school, as unfortunately you WILL regret it. The teachers are overworked and dismissive. If you have no choice but to send them here and you and your child have to endure the nature of the school’s ability to truly educate, please don’t hesitate to REPORT them, even to the district if necessary. Sadly, they do bank on the fact that working parents tend to be short on time given their work schedules, so it’s best to avoid this school at all costs. Good luck.Parent Review2y ago11 Reviews - Crawford High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAbsolutely not the children here at the school are very extremely racist, especially if you are a religion that they don't accept then you will be expected to get jumped in the bathrooms. And when you tell the principal or other staff around you, they will not care instead they will just put you in a classroom and tell you to stay away from them. I have already graduated, but have went to the school all four years. The school didn't teach me anything not only that, but I had to risk my life or at least it felt like I was risking my life every time I was there the security is horrible. They will let anybody in as long as you look like a teenager. The safety is unacceptable especially when it comes to kids on kids Crawford high school does not care about your well-being at all whatsoever, this school is horrible and I definitely do not recommend you putting your children inside from someone who went there all four years of their life. I'm telling you there's way better schools and people will tell you otherwise but someone who had to go there all the gang violence and racism that is there at that school will make you want to end your own life.Other Review4w ago4 Reviews - Check out schools near 4312-4312 Collwood Ln.

"It’s a nice neighborhood, but just a few blocks South can get sketchy. Stay away from El Cajon Boulevard. "

"Unfortunately, a lot of people don’t clean up after their dogs. There are not a lot of places to walk to. This is not one of those neighborhoods where you can walk to a trendy area with restaurants, shops, bars, etc. "

"I love the freeway access. It has access to the 8, 15, and 805 all within a few miles. If you go north or West you will sit in traffic."

"A short drive to SDSU for classes, a short drive to the library, a short drive to the freeway. A car is required here. Very loud street noise, Collwood is a very busy street especially when SFSU is in session"
