"Dog owners may like the fact that there’s a park near by where they can let their dog run or play. Most streets are connected which is perfect for loops"
  • Trulia User
"i have nothing bad in Woodcrest to report. there is lots of land on private properties and public to let your dog roam"
  • Cynthia J. S.
"Everyone keeps their dogs leashes while walking and they dispose of their dog’s waste properly. There are stations with bags for waste for dog owners. "
  • Valerie D.
"Lots of lit walkways to take dogs on leashed walks. No dog park to bring pups to unfortunately. I like seeing families walk dogs around!"
  • Francine
"I see people walking their dogs all the time, and there is a dog park nearby. The area has a park with lots of grass where a lot of people take their dogs to socialize them. "
  • Daneskinner
"Great. I don’t work near home. I commute to El Segundo. But my commute is very manageable due to the proximity of all the major freeways in the area. "
  • Oscar J. S.
"The neighborhood is quiet. There is never loud music or noisy parties. And there is rarely any through traffic. People are often going for walks. And though people keep to themselves, everyone is very polite and people greet as they pass. The streets are pretty clear at night as it's well lit and most people park off the street. "
  • Oscar J. S.
"I've lived here about 2-1/2 years. The neighborhood is quiet and well maintained. There's a park within walking distance. Neighbors are friendly. "

  • Raylene S.

"This neighborhood is awesome. Grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, etc. within walking distance. Great schools and easy accessibility to the 215, 60, and 91 freeways."
  • Andy2sou74
"The community is safe, quiet, clean, and one of the best places to live. The tax rate is one of the lowest and the HOA is very low. It’s convenient with shopping centers and services nearby. It’s safe at night when I walk my dog."
  • marlana m.
"I've lived in orangecrest for 10 years, neighbors are great and love the community. lots of activities for the kids"
  • Keith W.
"I’ve lived here for 1 year, great neighborhood. The schools are close, can walk if you want too. The hiking trails are nice. Love our house, a lot of space...the only negatives we are just too far from family and work. "
  • Soledad D.
"Everyone watches out for one another. All my neighbors are the same ones since i moved in 2005! I also like that the park is walking distance."
  • Diana S.
"I lived in this area for a year now and not only is it quiet and safe, there is everything you need from gas, to groceries and entertainment. "
  • wilc4
"We moved here 3 years ago and love the neighborhood, schools and people. Great place to raise a family as the sports park is nearby and the city has many classes and activities. Overall, I would think that OrangeCrest is the best place to live in the Inland Empire. Community is very upscale and clean and their are no trashy homes even though there is no HOA. (Although the city is quick to police any home that starts to slip into becoming an eyesore). Schools are awesome and we feel like our child is getting a first class education. It is close to work and the traffic isn't bad. Definitely the type of place you would choose to live, not somewhere that you would live just because it was all you could afford. Although the price is more (you can get the same home for probably 1/2 the price elsewhere in Riverside) it is definitely worth it. Frankly, the higher prices are probably good because it keeps people who don't care about where the live from moving in, since they would probably just save the $150,000 and live somewhere else."
  • R112bbette
"This is a newer area of Riverside. Plenty of shopping (including Kohl's, Albertsons, Ralphs, Stater Bros, Fresh & Easy, Sprouts, K-mart and movie theater within 1 mile radius), great schools including elementary school in community, high school 2 blocks away, huge park with sports fields, public library & community center within 1 mile. Plenty of restaurants including Chili's and numerous fast food restaurants; gas stations; fitness centers & gyms and numerous churches. All of the above within a 1 mile radius. 10 mins. from downtown Riverside and frwys."
