8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe bright spot of this school is the families. The parents are involved and the kids are kind. The 'experienced' teachers are jaded and mean. I witnessed teachers SCREAM at kids, or yell at them with their finger pointed an inch from their face; and this was TK and Kinder. I volunteered monthly, and the teachers were cruel to these kids every time. These teachers also seemed to fall a bit short on the actual teaching. They barely interacted with the kids during lessons, relying heavily on tech to teach for them. They don't even check in on the kids during these lessons. Ms Brittany is the young, energetic, empathic outlier. She is amazing. My child had her in the GenEd / SPED blended class, but she is primarily the SPED teacher. "It doesn’t have as many families, and there are still the people who originally owned, thus potentially the trick-or-treating is not as popular, however safety and proximity to Trader Joe’s and other awesome grocery stores is absolutely ideal."

"Wonderful trails, wide streets, so many hills. But there are coyotes to always watch out for. This fact can’t be stressed enough. Most people protect themselves and their companion animals by carrying canes, sticks, noisemakers. Anyone who leaves an animal outdoors does not deserve to have one."

"This is a beautiful area; quiet, yet close to all the hustle and bustle, Metro Gold line, Bus station, shopping [Best Buy, Nordstrom Rack, Party City], theater [A Noise Within],churches, two temples - a tree lined avenue, fantastic eating [Panera, Marias, Stone Fire Grill...], all within walking distance. "

"This is a beautiful locality, at the foot of the San Gabriel mountain range. The Metro is within walking distance; shopping is right there. Perfect for evening walks, and hiking during weekends. The drama group A Noise Within is a stone's throw. They stage great plays and provide opportunities for aspiring actors. We just love it here. "
