"I love how diverse it is. I also love how convenient it is to shop. Target, Walmart, old navy, all in the area. A bunch of Grocery stores and Mom and pop shops. Very close to thruway and transportation to city. "

"A great area for walkers! I was so fit when I used to live in this area with its pleasant parks and a classic Main Street with fun shops, sweet people, neighborhood library, etc. Walking to the Shortline commuter bus, or the short drive to the train is so handy and stress free. Crane Park is just across 17M and is convenient for children, and I liked to jog around the lakes by the Mill Pond, or the rail trails towards Museum Village and the O&R lakes. Additionally, Smith Clove Park is about a mile away. Monroe Diner was like a second home and the medical services on Gilbert St. and Shoprite shopping center make it possible to live without a car. Sorry I had to leave it for an out-of-state job. It's rare to find something so close to NYC (c. 1 hr.) yet having the best of small town life."
