What Locals Say about Florida

  • A99redjetta
"Dog owners would like that it’s on a dead end road. So it’s quiet and enough room. Also can you stop asking me these questions every time I log on"
  • Giancarlo Pressano
"Dog owners would love this neighborhood. It’s peaceful, calm and 100% safe for all pets. Sidewalks & Streets are always properly maintained."
  • Vanessa Romero
"They do a nice Halloween event. And big parade for veterans. In the community they host parties/events for special activities "
  • Naya V.
"Commute can be tiresome because I work in the city but worth the quality of living I get here. People and friendly and there is a sense of community"
  • Andryshak424
"Great area. I’ve lived here my whole life. Low crime. Great emergency services. Great school districts. "
  • Wilfredo O.
"It’s not too far from Woodbury or Middletown, Vernon New Jersey is also near by with their beautiful hiking grounds and park & recreation areas. It’s a pretty safe environment and there are so many varieties of restaurants around the town."
  • Naya V.
"No dog parks other then taking a walk in glenmere park but all in all still can take your pup for a stroll"
  • Wilfredo O.
"It’s pretty smooth outside of school hours . For the most part in between my travels from one job to another it’s a 24 minute commute on the maps app and I can normally make it there in about 15-20 during those hours....."
  • Melissa A.
"Supports local business and the community makes you feel like family. Excellent schools districts, rural but there are plenty of things to do. Breweries, wineries, places to hike, lakes, and winter activities as well. Beautiful place to experience fall as well."
  • Colorsofspring_74
"Quaint small town living. The middle/High school, library and restaurants are all easy to walk to for those who live in the village. "
  • Chrisfatkinson
"I drive my own car but it’s easy to get around this town. Traffic is light and it flies easily and there are direct routes to where I need to go. "
  • Colorsofspring_74
"I have lived here 12 years. The neighborhood is safe and friendly. The school district is just fine. Small schools and small class sizes. Don't be fooled by school number"rankings". There are things that skew the numbers in a negative way but would ordinarily not affect your own child's experience. The neighborhood is walkable to several places like the library, pizzeria, chinese food and the Middle/HS. We have a hidden gem here and we enjoy being under the radar."
  • LoveNY
"The school district is less than desirable but it is a close knit community. Very well established neighborhoods and not your cookie cutter homes in most areas."
  • Chrisfatkinson
"It’s really easy to get places from here, a straight shot to 17 and close to active neighboring communities. "
  • Mmksullivan
"All dogs are on a leash which makes it walkable. There are many neighborhoods with wide streets so it is safe to walk. And there are a few dog parks within easy driving distance. "
  • Asheswilson61303
"Nothing it sucks , but they have this stupid thing called Family Fun Fest. It’s not fun at all. Don’t recommend. "
  • Mmksullivan
"There is always a free program or event at the library, which is within walking distance. The Florida Farmers Market runs every Tuesday in the summer and early fall. Fun Fest is a big event once a year when Main Street is closed to cars. Food, rides and tons of fun!"
  • Mmksullivan
"Florida is a family oriented village with little league, soccer, small schools, a wonderful library with resources and programs for all ages. It is a great place to raise your kids."
