9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son started at Morningside in Kindergarten. He is now finishing his 5th grade year here. My daughter is finishing 1st grade after starting in their Role Model program at age 3. Overall, we have had a great experience here. My kids have loved all of their teachers, they have enjoyed many fun activities put on by the PTSA and the teachers and they've been able to take advantage of some really wonderful after school activities. There is a surprising amount of affordable and fun after school activities here for it being a public school. We have made some very close friends through the years at Morningside. There is a strong community of parents who really care about making the elementary and middle school experience here a good one for the kids who attend. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone.Parent Review7y ago11 Reviews - Horace Mann Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is overall bad , and I’d suggest to NOT take your child here . There are barely teachers not only for core classes but also for electives, the PE class has NOTHING to do with physical education let alone the fact they don’t even stay in a actual gym let alone go outside or get grades. I don’t understand how a school can offer so much with no real learning to up-hold the offers. The children had to take thier SAT even though there was no algebra teacher to teach them the math material for the SAT. Punishment between student conflict can be unfair which leads children to be withdrawal. Not all the teachers that work there are professional . And if you notice the events it’s only seniors and rarely the other grade levels showing what they prioritize. I would suggest to not bring your child here . Thier mental stress would be heightened going to this schoolParent Review3mo ago5 Reviews - Check out schools near 24th St #700.

"The Saturday Farmers Market is a popular meeting place for Upper Eastsiders. It has grown from a fresh produce market now with ethnic foods and spices, and boutique wear from India and Indonesia. Every 4th of July the neighborhood throws a potluck party at Baywood Park culminating in fireworks seen over Biscayne Bay. "
