10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved to LA two years back and had the good fortune of moving to a house up the street from Overland Elementary. We have two boys in the school and have been nothing but impressed. By the teachers, the administration, the parent involvement, the community welcoming us and feeling familiar after only a few short months. Wonderful experience and would highly recommend.Parent Review2y ago21 Reviews - Palms Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThree of my children attended Palms and my youngest is culminating this spring. They all attended the gifted magnet. They had many wonderful teachers invested in their students' education action and well being. Besides a rigorous academic curriculum, they had opportunities for involvement in Leadership, Journalism (Palms Press), and Art electives. Teachers encouraged my children to try out for competitions in art and spelling. Two of my kids went on a wonderful week long East coast tour visiting NY, Philly, DC and Boston. As a parent, I've been involved in the Friends of Palms Booster club and helped organize the campus beautification days. Overall I'd say Palms is a good fit if you're looking for an academically rigorous school with a diverse student body and dedicated teachers and staff.Parent Review1mo ago56 Reviews - Alexander Hamilton Senior High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has had an outstanding experience at Hamilton. As part of the AMPA Magnet, he’s had the chance to play in multiple musical groups, learn from professional musicians, and record in a studio. Academically, he’s received an excellent education—he’s taken multiple AP classes (scoring well on the tests) and has been inspired by some truly exceptional teachers.Having so many students involved in the arts creates a vibrant and supportive campus environment. There’s always a show or concert to look forward to, and I believe this artistic atmosphere encourages students to take creative risks and support each other. As a parent, I always feel welcome on campus. The administrators and staff are approachable and available, which means a lot to our family. We’re so happy we chose this school.Parent Review10mo ago28 Reviews - Check out schools near 10358-10358 Rossbury Pl.

"My neighborhood is great place to live for me, and I am very selective. Property values are going higher due to new construction and younger families are moving in. Great eateries and entertainment options keep popping up on monthly basis. Great invest to rent for higher returns and possible retirement income if one can afford current prices and mortgages. "

"I love this area. It’s quite and secure. Houses are well maintained and highly valued. It’s close to metro and nice friendly shopping center. Close to freeway and Beverly Hills and other affluent neighborhoods. Nice place to walk in the morning and in evenings. Mix families live here and all are educated and well mannered. "

"Have lived here for over 30 years and it's only gotten better. Great neighbors, many animals, good neighborhood watch, easy access to all Westside, and now great new addition of light rail to make access even better to downtown LA, and other light rail stops. House prices have stayed high and bargains go very quickly."

"Very central yet woodsy but well kept and pretty. Easy access to the 10 and 405 within minutes. Within 5 miles of the ocean and 8 minutes from downtown Los Angeles without traffic. Rush-hour traffic is usually going the other direction. Tuck between two major studios, 20th Century Fox and Sony and minutes from Century City. Lots are large and houses are well kept. One of the best K-5 schools in LA plus magnet Palms school."
