3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhat a fantastic school. The teachers, principal, and everyone else in the building absolutely give everything they have to these kids. There is a "parent support group" in lieu of a PTA and parents are very involved in the school. I initially hesitated to send my child here but now that seems so silly as my daughter is learning so much and loves the school.Parent Review7y ago4 Reviews - Thomas Johnson Middle School

"It's more car-friendly. But there are mero buses Monday - Friday. I am not sure about the weekend and during holidays. If I remember correctly I do not think they run during the weekend and holidays."

"Older neighborhood. Not many children. Friendly caring neighbors who take care of one another. One street in and out of subdivision is a bonus. "

"I’ve lived in the neighborhood for almost 3 years, great houses but not so good schools. Love the location and the stores around, but not a fan of traffic around the roads. Honestly there is really great parks even though some neighborhoods can be troublesome."

"It is not too diverse but not bad at all, in DC area this is the most affordable area and it is not as bad as people think or say, it is very calm and quiet. You definitely need a car to get around I have lived for a year on transit and couldn’t do it anymore so eventually got a car."
