    "I have spent a good part of my life in La Mesa, my grandparents settling here in 1957. I live in their house. I graduated from Helix in ‘81, my niece from Grossmont in 2 weeks. Other than getting a little crowded, La Mesa is a centrally located, youthful, and social community, great to raise a family."
