This is a big studio. The main room is wide open and takes a full bed and a proper living set with floor to spare, and there are three windows plus recessed lighting throughout, so it does not feel like a basement. A double sliding closet runs along one wall for storage.

What sets it apart from most studios is the kitchen it's a separate full galley kitchen, not a kitchenette tucked into a corner. Granite counters, a stone tile backsplash, white cabinets on both walls with glass-front uppers, track lighting, and full-size stainless appliances: gas range with hood, and a full-size refrigerator. There's a breakfast bar overhang and real counter space to cook on.

Wide-plank light wood floors run throughout, and the whole place is freshly painted and move-in ready.

Pelham Bay is one of the quieter corners of the northeast Bronx low-rise, residential blocks, minutes from Pelham Bay Park. That's the largest park in the city, more than three times the size of Central Park, with Orchard Beach, two golf courses and miles of trails.

Getting around is easy. The 6 train runs through the neighborhood, with Middletown Road and Buhre Avenue close by and Pelham Bay Park at the end of the line. Express buses run straight into Midtown. Driving, you're right by Bruckner Boulevard, the Hutchinson River Parkway and I-95, with the Throgs Neck and Whitestone Bridges nearby for Queens and Long Island, and a clear run up the Hutch to Westchester.

Shops, delis, bakeries and restaurants are along Westchester and Crosby Avenues, with everyday errands walkable.

I-95 is the major highway and connects to two major bridges, the Throggs Neck and Whitestone. AMC movie theater is located in the mall. The Bronx Zoo and Botanical Gardens is approximately a 20 minute drive away. The community is very diverse. Everyone is very friendly and a great amount of small restaurants are located throughout the neighborhood."
