About this House

ADU fully furnished cottage available after Sept 1. My current tenant moves out end of August.
Located between Bend and Sisters. It is 13.6 miles from Target with spectacular mountain views- 2 miles off the highway towards the mountains. 7 miles from Sisters.

Very private access, no shared walls, parking (right by the living quarters-), killer mountain view on a 1.3 acre lot. No smoking (anything), no pets, please don't ask (our labs died, we are dog peeps, but no). There are several hiking trails literally across the street from the driveway.

Included: Utilities (water, electricity), garbage, and WiFi (it's your own router- but cheaper if I bundle with mine), wired for a landline. Whatever TV service access we have, you also have.

One (queen) bedroom, living room, full kitchen and bathroom (No tub. Shower only). Washer/Dryer, full fridge, dishwasher, oven, micro, pots and pans, towels, silverware, bakeware, toaster...all the things AND A/C!

We built this house and "mother-in-law" quarters at the same time and have enjoyed multiple renters over the years! Hubs and I both work normal jobs M-F. I'm in education and hubs is in construction. We are adventure seekers who love to travel to tropical places and enjoy the outdoors. We boat and raft in the summer, snowmobile in the winter, and have RZRs that takes us to beautiful places in the fall and spring. We have adult children (1 married with kids & one professional still living at home). I feel like we are pretty normal folks. I can provide references upon request of prior renters as well. We are looking for our next great fit. Our last peep is moving out due to PhD clinicals in another town.. The pictures of the outside of the house might be confusing as the house used to be white, but it is now a coconut color- I need to update the photos. The cottage is on the very back side of the house (you cannot see it from the street at all)- the photo with the fire pit looks directly at the cottage with the deck out the back door. Although technically connected to our house- I am lucky if I see our tenant once every other month. I can't see the car parked (or not) or the cottage from any place or window in my house.

$1850 monthly.
1 year lease min.
No smoking, no pets please (I'm so sorry).

Please submit an application and please include references with current contact.

First, last, security/cleaning deposit ($300 non-refundable) required upon contract signing.

One year minimum (two year preference is given).

Utilities are included in the monthly rent (electricity, water, trash).
Wifi is included- you have your own router and PIN.
Whatever TV service we have you have access to.
We take care of the lawn and plow the driveway.
No pets please.
No smoking/vaping/growing.

Limited parking. There is paved parking beside the garage for one vehicle. Maybe two if they aren't huge.

The cottage is an ADU connected to the back side of our garage. The ADU was built when we built the house. It is very private. No shared walls. I literally see my tenant once every two months or so. If I'm in the attic pulling out Christmas decor and they flush the toilet I can hear that, or if I'm in the driveway when they drive up I know they are home. It's very private with better mountain views than from my house :).

We are professionals in our 50s with adult children. One adult child is an ER nurse/married and has a family of his own living local. The other adult child is also a working professional and lives here (or at least their stuff lives here full time). On weekends, we play. We have a boat, a raft, a RZR and love to travel. We aren't home often.
