There are numerous smaller updates such as all new closet systems in each bedroom and pantry, smart/wifi thermostat, the addition of a whole house and garage fans for summer cooling, motion sensor lights, USB outlets and many other upgrades that make the home so much more liveable.

The home comes ready to live in with all the main appliances including a new fridge, dishwasher, washer dryer, oven/stove and second fridge in the garage. There are 4 garden beds that are setup on their own irrigation system and we've had a lot of success growing Kale, Arugla, Cucumbers, Zuchini, Tomatoes, Strawberries, Herbs and more.

In terms of location, the home is very convenient to just about everything in town and most of the time you can get everywhere you need to go in about 10 mins or less. Shevlin Park is just over 10 mins away, Mt Bachelor is 30 mins (25mi) on most days, and the airport is 15-20 mins. We've found our location to be incredibly bike/run friendly and often bike downtown for dinners, concerts, and other events as well as head down to the Deschutes River Trail for exercise which is only 3/4 mi from our house. The Quickway Mart on the corner is incredibly convenient if you need anything last minute and Albertsons and Natural Grocer are both about 1 mi away.

A little about us. We're a family of 5 and we moved to Bend in 2017 from San Diego. We love Bend but moved to England in August 2020 and are planning to be overseas for a while. The existing tenant has been wonderful but her situation has changed and she needs to move. She will be showing the place since we currently live in England.

Home is unfurnished. No Smoking. Tenants responsible for gas, water and electricity plus yard maintenance and renter's insurance. Trash and internet (140/20mbps up/down from CenturyLink) included and is roughly a $100 value. The home is a smart home with wireless thermostat, whole house fan, ring doorbell and more. Typically 1 year lease but will consider signing a longer lease. Pets accepted with additional $500 pet deposit and $25/mo
