  • Mehdi Mardi
"I go to work with my own car and it is very rare that I use public transportation, although Beaverton is really great in terms of public transportation, as well as in terms of cleanliness and local access."
  • Trulia User
"There’s a lot of parks and there’s dog parks. However, I have nothing bad to say. A lot of places around the neighborhood have dog friendly stores."
  • Trulia User
"Good transportation to local markets and transit stations. Can be a little noisy. Easy access to highways and a lot of routes to get around heavy traffic."
  • Trulia User
"There is a dog park area designated for our furry friends. which is within three blocks to where I live. It's a nice local park near Erickson Ave. "
  • Trulia User
"Saturday farmers market, tree lighting at the library, and all of the concerts in the park. I’ve spent 24 years in central beaverton and it keeps getting better. "
  • Trulia User
"Food options are great; streets are safe, schools are fantastic, I loved growing up, and returning to central beaverton. "
  • Trulia User
"The transit system is great to get to downtown Portland you just have to figure out where to get off and where you have to switch to the next bus to get to where you want. Driving around beaverton is ok, driving to downtown Portland could take up to a hour depending on what time of day it is"
  • Samvaldez02
"Small Local dog park at Evelyn Schiffler Park. Beautiful park. Well maintained. Friendly dogs. Never an issue with other dogs. "
  • Sqwuat

"I live and work in the area for 5 years and it's a great community. I have raised my kids hear. My family has grown fond of this community just as I have."
  • Laurainpdx1
"I have lived in this area for six years. My family and I love the walk ability of the area and the close proximity to the freeway and mass transit. There is an incredible farmers market every Saturday that we love going to. The downtown Beaverton area has a lot of great little shops, a few restaurants and nice coffee houses. The parks in this area are the best. You can't beat Schiffler Park off Erickson. There is so much to do here. Walk, play basketball, join a game of soccer, play on the huge playgrounds, walk the boardwalk or check out the skate park. Our family especially loves the swing set on the Berthold entrance. It's beautifully tucked away and simple. "
  • queenofup
"What a great location. Walk to MAX or grocery stores. Easy access to Hwy 217 and Hwy 26. Three parks in the neighborhood; one with BBQs and tables; one with playground equipment. Friendly neighbors -- just a great place to live."
