8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school seems to teach for the statewide test that are given. My daughter had lessons on the same topics for months at a time. The Leadership is there to say no more than to help the kids grow. There is not a real sense of community. Through online learning during the pandemic it as obvious teachers were not teaching. Her teacher meet with the students for a short time and then assigned them graded homework that it was up to the parents to teach and help the student with. Bottom line before the pandemic and after the pandemic, the school seems more interested in their ranking than actually teaching the students for the long term and providing a strong foundation for them to succeed in a highly ranked university.Parent Review3y ago8 Reviews - Severn River Middle School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is doing really well at this school, even through the online program. The teachers are great, we moved here for the schools and are glad we did. Looking forward to next year.Parent Review5y ago3 Reviews - Broadneck High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended Broadneck High School, and honestly, the reputation it has is completely overrated. The only reason people think highly of it is because of the football team—once you look past that, the rest of the school is a complete mess. The administration does not take 504 plans seriously at all. If you have accommodations, don’t expect them to be respected or enforced. Students who need actual support are left on their own, and the staff seems more interested in brushing issues under the rug than doing their jobs. The student body is another nightmare. The majority of kids here are obsessed with popularity, and many are just plain mean. If you’re even slightly different—especially if you’re neurodivergent—you’re basically setting yourself up to be bullied constantly. And when the bullying happens, don’t expect teachers or staff to step in. They rarely do anything about it.The school environment itself is also disgusting. It’s extremely unhygienic, with dirty bathrooms, trash piling up, and a general sense of neglect everywhere. On top of that, fights and drug use are common, and the school’s response is practically nonexistent. It’s like the administration pretends it’s not happening, even when everyone knows it is.Overall, Broadneck High School is not the “great” school people make it out to be. Unless you only care about football, you’ll find it’s one of the most disappointing and toxic environments you could put a student in.Student Review9mo ago20 Reviews - Check out schools near 564 Moorings Cir #0.

"This is a great neighborhood for dogs and people are really good about picking up after them. We got a dog right after we moved in and it was a great way to meet people. It is sometimes hard to remember names quickly but dog names are fast and can save you in a jam. The whole neighborhood his 3.2 miles so walking your dog here can really get you some steps!"
