6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageComing from an amazing elementary school (Farmers Branch Elementary) to a non-caring school has been a challenge for us this year. I would highly recommend to look elsewhere. Don’t get me wrong, great teachers! But as for their front office to the principal, horrible system going. Stay away and if you choose to attend, watch your children attendance and also their occurrences on ID badges as kids here have been forging other kiddos student ID numbers…Parent Review3mo ago8 Reviews - Stark Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m honestly very disappointed with my niece’s experience at this school. She is only 4 years old, and instead of being supported and guided, my sister received phone calls almost every single day about her behavior. It felt excessive and unnecessary for a child that young. The teacher struggled to manage her and didn’t seem to use effective classroom strategies or age-appropriate consequences. There was very little effort to turn situations into teaching moments everything immediately escalated to calling home, even for minor things like putting her watch in her mouth. She’s 4. That’s normal behavior that should be redirected, not treated like a major issue. It also felt like unrealistic expectations were placed on her, as if she was expected to behave like a much older child instead of being given grace to learn and grow. What was most frustrating was the lack of support for our family. At one point, they told her she couldn’t ride the bus, which forced my sister who doesn’t even have a car to scramble and figure out transportation last minute. That was incredibly unfair and showed a lack of consideration.Overall, the school did not provide the patience, structure, or support that young children need. I would not recommend this school based on our experience.Parent Review3mo ago24 Reviews - Turner High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageRL Turner High School is a great school considering all of its financial challenges with some great teachers and programs like Biomed and AMAT that help you prepare for the future. Most of the students are very nice as well. The cafeteria food isn’t really that great and there was a fentanyl crisis recently there. There are also some terrible teachers which unfortunately lowers my rating. You should go to Turner if you want to get into the medical or film industries.Other Review1y ago11 Reviews - Check out schools near 3940 Spring Valley Rd #2.

"Under appreciated gem. Great proximity to highways, fantastic parks, a local Government that is really trying to make things better for the community. Super responsive police and fire service as not tied to Dallas county."

"Everyone owns a dog here. It’s very welcome. You will love it! It’s very strict about picking up dog poo though, so be prepared to always do that. (Which you should). Lots of parks nearby. Plenty of space for the puppy to roam. "
