About this House

Tucked beneath a magnificent canopy of mature live oak trees, 4040 Rive Lane offers a rare combination of privacy, tranquility and neighborhood connection in one of Addison’s most peaceful, tree canopied residential enclaves. With no through traffic, this may be one of the quietest residential settings in Addison, yet it is only five minutes from the Dallas North Tollway and Interstate 635.

This beautifully updated home reflects significant investment inside and out, including interior and exterior painting, siding replacement, professional landscaping, and replacement windows and exterior doors for enhanced comfort and energy efficiency. Abundant natural light fills the home, while the primary bedroom conveniently located on the first floor provides comfortable everyday living.

The exceptionally private backyard creates a peaceful outdoor retreat, while the expansive front patio offers an equally inviting place to relax, entertain or visit with neighbors beneath the tree lined streetscape. With no homeowners association, owners enjoy added flexibility without monthly HOA dues.

Some of Addison’s most treasured amenities are within an easy walk. The Addison Athletic Club is available exclusively to Addison residents with no monthly dues and is located nearby, along with the neighborhood dog park and miles of interconnected walking and biking trails. Les Lacs Pond, a favorite neighborhood gathering place and peaceful destination for a walk, is also just a short stroll away.

Quiet, beautifully improved and remarkably convenient, 4040 Rive Lane offers an uncommon lifestyle with a private, tree canopied retreat and quick access to Addison’s restaurants, parks, recreation and the major employment centers of North Dallas.

  • Kara R.
"It is tucked away and very private. Landscaping is well maintained, as well. My neighbors are friendly and help keep the community looking its best. "
  • Jose A.
"I’ve been living in Addison for 4 years and so far no complains. Neighbors are not bothersome and everything you need is within 10-15 minutes away (grocery store, restaurants, bars, retail stores, and galleria mall. Downtown is between 17 to 20 minutes away depending on traffic."
  • Deron.alba10
"Addison is a Great city to live in for many reasons. Vitruvian Park is my favorite place to take my dog. It's beautiful with much to do."
  • Trulia User
"schools are not great. diversity is definitely an issue. the teachers are great but upper parties are subpar. alot of parks within 10 minutes. "
  • Bakerjacobe
"A lot of parks and places to go. Many restaurants. low level of crime. police are idiots, but town officials and Fire Fighters are smart."
  • Rlc2502

  • Hgggh
"this is a dog friendly neighborhood. People pick after their pets here. Addison has a lot of Vet clinics and pet Hotels. most apartment here are Dog friendly, I would say about 90%. Most apartments also have Amentities for Pets, like pet wash, Pet Play areas and there is also a huge park in Addison Circle that is Pet friendly."
  • Jessicah M.
"The traffic on DNT is horrible. It’s horrible on 635 as well. Leave your home early or sit in traffic."
  • Craig E. G.
"Addison sucks for families. Only live there if you are single and want to party every night. Addison is not a place to raise a child."
  • V.johnston22
"To and from work or school is my normal commute. I walk to the gym, grocery store, and community activities that the park ( Vitruvian park) host. I drive to get gas as well which is just about a half a mile away. There is normally something to do every 2 weeks if not sooner for people of all ages. Most events are family friendly. So overall I would say my commutes are short and sweet when traffic isn’t so bad on I35 or I635 North and east."
  • Laura C. J.
"European feel. 100% walkable and dog friendly. Beautiful parks all around, music throughout the summer and events for 4th July, Taste of Addison, Oktoberfest, among others. It is a neighborhood like no other. We love it!"
