  • John
"No commute but it gets quite busy here durian the winter season but you get used to it…………………………………."
  • Trulia User
"I have no commute. I live in a great neighborhood. It is wonderful because it offers us a lot of public facilities. The dog park near my house makes the area more desirable. Centrally locted"
  • Trulia User
"easy but traffic can back up with tourism and rush hour. not awful just annoyingly slow. stop and go "
  • Trulia User
"A very nice area and location is perfect for walking to beach. Police patrolling and lots of activities but we'll lit."
  • Trulia User
"There aren't many families. Treasure Island has a large number of seasonal residents. It is a safe place to live"
  • Trulia User
"People and beauty. magnificent sunsets, clean and safe streets. Great place to live and have family and friends over. "
  • Trulia User
"Great place for kids if you're not in the Condo areas, otherwise the traffic can get busy. The parks are clean and plenty to do that is in walking distance or short drive or Uber depending on the destination. There is only one grocery store within 5 miles (Publix). Parking can be troublesome at times at the beach so probably best to invest in s nice cart and walk. "
  • Trulia User
"Area has a park. Sidewalks throughout the neighborhood but not everywhere. Not as many kids if not at the park "
  • Trulia User
"Group social events for fun as well as activities that can help other neighbors such as neighborhood garage sales. Neighbors are extremely friendly and helpful. "
  • Trulia User
"Isle of Capri is a great and safe neighborhood with a fantastic location. You can walk or ride your bike to the beach in less than a mile and there are plenty of bike racks along the beach or near restaurants. You can also bike to nearby John’s Pass. Uber only takes minutes and there is also a trolly and other public transportation services that also provide a lift. Getting to Downtown St. Petersburg is easy enough as it is 10 miles East You can travel central Avenue or 275. There is much to do around St Pete Beach that we don’t feel the need to even go downtown St. Petersburg as there is enough to to within Treasure Island, St. Pete Beach and Gulfport. "
  • Trulia User
"Walking along green grass lawn. They seem to pick up after themselves. I don’t have a dog and I don’t find poop in my yard "
  • Trulia User
"Great neighborhood, small town feel with lots of great stuff near by, plus the beach is a 10 minute drive. Crime is low and access to the beach is great, it’s like Florida was 25 years ago except with better amenities and great air conditioning "
  • Seth F.
"Neighbors are very friendly. You are close to all major attractions in the area yet still feel like you live in the countryside (lots of privacy!). So many dogs!"
  • Manthey8020
"I live in Tampa and can get here in about 35 minutes. Easy commute both ways. Quick drive to downtown St. Pete and the Trop also. "
  • Peyton B.
"Very safe community, awesome neighbors, great layout, and very clean. Great for kids. I have lived here for two years and I have loved every minute of it"
  • Smcg4255
"The area has many senior citizens and some middle aged families. Neighbors are very friendly. Socialize very often."
  • Nicole D.
"I don’t commute as I work from home. Bridges can cause delays if you’re in a hurry to get somewhere. "
  • Pat L.
"The dog beach is nice! There is a lot of dogs on the island, from small to huge! Most people are very friendly with dogs as long as they aren’t aggressive. A leash is a must though. Always pick up your poo and everyone will stay happy. Dogs however are prohibited from the main beach. There’s plenty of places that allow pets. "
  • Trulia User
"It’ s a very safe neighborhood but with a lot of traffic - but so many friendly people . The beach is great!"
  • Lbegando
"Growing up with the beach as your playground is an amazing way of life. The people are friendly and there is always something to do!"
  • Brian
"Traffic is horrible. Vehicles fly thru. Visitors and Beach goers park up and down the neighborhood streets."
  • Nikki Z.
"Great beaches, restaurants, and shopping! Perfect if you love the water. A hidden piece of heaven on the Gulf Coast! "
  • Dayna D.
"I drive 20 mins to and from work every day. traffic is minimal. I like the area I live in and work in. not many people get to say they see the beach every day. "
  • Jim
"Friendly low key beach vibe, not hip, more old school. Light traffic, good roads. Plenty of good local restaurants and beach bars. Public beaches are beautiful and well groomed by the city. Great intercostal for kayak or paddle board. Fishing and crabbing are first rate."
  • Sinderellaswims
"Santa Stroll Luminaries Civic Association events such as movies on the beach and pot lucks. Communal beach cleanup Yoga on the beach Annual giant bonfire on the beach "
  • Tere711
"Our neighborhood is just a few blocks from the nicest beach in the area. Publix is also only blocks away, as well as Walgreens, ice cream shops, casual, cool restaurants and great biking areas. This area is fantastic for singles, young couples, AND seniors. We love the mix of newcomers and folks who have lived here many years. During the Fourth of July and New Year’s seasons we have a top notch view of fireworks!"
  • Manthey8020
"Short walk to the best beach in the world. Old Florida charm still alive and well in Sunset Beach. Beautiful sunsets, not overcrowded - paradise on earth. "
