6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDo you want a school that offers great education? Do you want your child to learn in a safe, loving environment? Do you want to see your child succeed? Well, you won't find it here? Want the truth? Here it is:Do you want your child to fail miserably? Do you want an administration that allows bullies to run rampant and allow the victims to be seen as scapegoats? Do you want teachers who only defend those who harm? Then come on down to El Rancho High School! The school is so unregulated, that it makes the High Desert look appeasing. All in all, DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE.Other Review3mo ago6 Reviews - North Park Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids been here since kinder, and I must say the principal I believe was new. But I cannot say I did have any issues with her, she did seem very proactive with everything. The staff oh my goodness Ms. Maria is the best she is very loving, kind, very incredible person. Troy also is very welcoming and he is been Learning to speak Spanish and as of today he is really good at it. Teachers I haven’t had that much bad experience with them, I have felt heard by them, and they have been try to understand every child. Even this year, my kids had a rough times, but the teachers have been very fast in trying to make sure my kids feel safe. Including the counselor has such a happy personality, I have felt heard. I understand it May seems the scores low and all but kids are learning 2 languages and reading in 2 languages.Only thing I would really like to have more here is more activities for the kids, like some schools do color run, or coming to school after and do a reading time in classrooms something where kids and parents can be more engaged. But overall, my kids feel happy here.Parent Review3y ago4 Reviews - Check out schools near 9337 Walnut Ave.

"Some dog owners are very careless. Their dogs get out or they walk them off leash. I recommend always being vigilant when walking your dogs"

"I feel safe because I am in a gated community I would be more careful outside of the gates. However, the local shopping is good selection and well kept. People are friendly and helpful I enjoy this city and the surrounding areas as well "

"Not always the safest place to raise kids, it would be preferential to live in a gated community if you would like to live in Pico, or live relatively close to a school. Otherwise, the neighborhood can feel a bit unsafe otherwise. There are often gunshots heard and police cars making arrests. The area gets nice the closer you head towards Montebello. Just something to keep in mind as you look for nearby houses."

"The parks have a lot of events that invite the community as well as surrounding communities. We have concerts, activities, and even a farmer’s market. It’s great to see everyone come out and get together to have a good time. Not a lot of communities have this and hopefully we will be a good influence for other communities to do the same."
