"Some dog owners are very careless. Their dogs get out or they walk them off leash. I recommend always being vigilant when walking your dogs"
  • Nao
"A lot of dog owners and people walking their dogs in the morning. Several parks in the area where you can walk your dog to."
  • Nao

"Neighborhood has a lot of local shopping and food places close by. A movie theatre and delicious dining "
  • Camille M.
"I feel safe because I am in a gated community I would be more careful outside of the gates. However, the local shopping is good selection and well kept. People are friendly and helpful I enjoy this city and the surrounding areas as well "
  • Robtinez11
"Safe area. Good schools. Really good music programs. Nice parks for people to hang out at. Lots of shopping centers as well"
  • Alexa R.
"There are dog owners that don’t pick up after their dogs and some dog owners even allow their dogs to poop on lawns."
  • Bernalyajaira
"At the parks they always have events for Easter Christmas Fourth of July etc always super fun and organized "
  • Marisol S.
"Not always the safest place to raise kids, it would be preferential to live in a gated community if you would like to live in Pico, or live relatively close to a school. Otherwise, the neighborhood can feel a bit unsafe otherwise. There are often gunshots heard and police cars making arrests. The area gets nice the closer you head towards Montebello. Just something to keep in mind as you look for nearby houses."
  • Rosanna985
"I enjoy the music in the park with all the live bands! All the stores that are in walking distance and all the parks"
  • Diana L. .
"there are plenty of activities for all of the community. the schools have greatly improved over several decades. "
  • Rochelle A.
"there are bus lines that run through the city. also a metro link station in Norwalk and Commerce. close to 5 and 605 fwys."
  • Mariela_ocampo93
"there are a lot of crack heads at night and neighbors tend to have fights in their apartments every once in a while."
  • Iam.bagramon
"there are a bunch of other dog owners. there are also alot of cats and some random times were you might see wild animals like raccoons, squirrels, skunks, possums, and hawks. "
  • Victoriaqluna
"The parks have a lot of events that invite the community as well as surrounding communities. We have concerts, activities, and even a farmer’s market. It’s great to see everyone come out and get together to have a good time. Not a lot of communities have this and hopefully we will be a good influence for other communities to do the same."
  • Rochelle A.
"there's bus stops everywhere and the train station isn't too far away. Also central to 605 and 5 freeways"
  • Victoriaqluna
"Well maintained neighborhood, good neighbors, and I feel it’s safe to have children around and packages delivered."
  • Juan M.
