  • Jeremy Morrison
"It’s a very safe neighborhood, as long as you are a good parent and watch out for your kids, especially when walking around town because of the way some people drive."
  • Trulia User
"This has been a family oriented area since I was a child , I still can here the vendor with his cooler in his hand walking around yelling Canoli , pepperoni he has since passed but I have always enjoyed the small pizza parlors for their good food . The East side , Riverwest were my second home growing up. I have always and always will love Brady street."
  • Katherine M.
"It’s fun quite nice people easy to everything a lot of food the area is safe bus access parking site seeing medical care banks of all kinds . Police presence "
  • Natalie
"They would like the respectful dog owners. They are aware of people’s space. They wouldn’t enjoy the dog poop that is left near the sidewalks"
  • Scott D.
"Not a lot of places for kids to play outside unless you want to walk a few blocks. Playing at street level would be dangerous due to the traffic."
  • Kass'c L.
"Fun parks in the nearby area. Enjoy the festivities in the summer even more because there is so much more to do!"
  • Christie
"I have lived in this neighborhood for a few months after living a few miles away for school for the last 5 years. Absolutely love the area!! There is always so much to do, from festivals, to farmers markets, and sporting events. Trying to stay in the area as long as I can!"

"Great are to live in. Many outdoor activities like parks, beach, bike friendly streets. Walking distance to nightlife and grocery store "
  • Jill
"This is probably not the area of the city to raise children. Although there are a lot of things to do outside, it is definitely more of an adult area."
  • Mmartinez1912
"Very dog friendly neighborhood. Many dog owners seen walking their dogs. Dog park located a few blocks away."
  • Nique A.
"I love how so many different restaurants and stores are in close proximity to my place of residence. I’m also near the lake which is a HUGE plus! "

"Everyone has dogs here so the restaurants are very accommodating with outdoor seating, that can also be a downside is that if your pup isn’t good with other dogs it will be stressed because there are dogs literally everywhere. "
