9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageToo much administrative politics, and too much emphasis on a state-wide Advanced Placement Program that doesn't serve kids needs in the end. Teachers are caring, but appropriateness for curriculum content completely misses the mark for what a high schooler needs to enter the workforce. To much hollow virtue signaling and woke-ism at the admin level. Too much Covid Politics, Too many participation trophies, Too much patting themselves on the back for mediocrity in education. Wasn't always this way. Need to get back to teaching the 3 Rs of Reading, Writing, Arithmetic. ...as a parent, I'm expecting, and demanding, serious changes once the new political regime changes at the state level in November.Parent Review2y ago37 Reviews - Jenks Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average7th Grader #2:I am currently a seventh grader at this school and let me get this point across. THIS SCHOOL DOES NOT CARE FOR YOU OR YOUR CHILD'S PHYSICAL OR MENTAL HEALTH. They do not care what students do until it escalates into something they can't ignore. The counselors do NOT take your feelings into account. They brush off large issues that students have at home or at school. The teaching staff and administrators make decisions that negatively affect EVERYONE. They do not take into account what it can do to the students nor their family. STAY AWAY!7th Grader #1:As someone who has been in jenks for their entire school life the schools just slowly got worse, until they just barly care about all of the diiferent students that go to the school and the only thing that they care about is the schools image. They claim that they care about the students mental health, but when you do try to seek out help you get shamed by the workers and other students that go to the school. The school claims that they treat all of the students the same even with the dress code only stating rules against clothes that are more common in female rather than male students. The best thing about going to this school is when the school year ends and i am free of it for an entire summer before the next school begans.Student Review2mo ago20 Reviews - Jenks East Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has been wonderful. They have dedicated teachers who truly work to ensure every student excels to the best of their ability. They care about every student. My only complaint is it’s just a huge school. 1500+ kids PreK - 4th, it’s hard to feel part of a community with this large of a population.Parent Review1y ago9 Reviews - Jenks East Intermediate Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy 5th grade son didn't have a great experience at this school due to some bullying. However, as soon as we discussed the situation with the teacher and principal, things were addressed very quickly. Even without the bullying though, it was not a great fit for us. We found there to be a lot of elitism and entitlement among the students and families.Parent Review7y ago1 Reviews - Check out schools near 9116 S Florence Ave #24-7.

"I’ve lived here for about 5 years. This is a very quiet neighborhood, we don’t really see our neighbors very much and when we do they are always very friendly. The landscape is well maintained also, and looks very nice. A peaceful neighborhood for a walk."
