"everything about this hood is badly represented but once you get the feel of this area it's not that bad..."
  • Trulia User
"I've lived here for almost 1 year and it's fun, there's a park nearby. I get to walk my dog in peace without someone bothering me"
  • Trulia User
"You need a big scary dog so people donโ€™t come into your yard. Donโ€™t let your dog out because there are other big dogs that get out and will attack your dog. Be careful walking your dog in this neighborhood."
  • Trulia User
"Itโ€™s really quiet in the daily basis but, when people have parties are really noisy and stay up late until next day sometimes. "
  • Trulia User
"nothing it's perfect for walking around with the dogs and family or playing at the park with your dog"
  • Jonathan C. C.
"I had been living in this neighborhood for 5 years, and I think itโ€™s better as the old neighbor. In the 90โ€™ it was to difficult to walk on the neighbor, but now is nice and better. There is a lot of properties to remodeling, so probably in a few years it will be improve the streets and houses. The most that I like in this neighborhood is that I have a lot of freeways to take, and a lot of busses and trolley lines."
  • Alicia
"Thereโ€™s always hit and runs. All cars that live here should have full coverage because drivers are irresponsible."
  • Marcela C.
"Good public transportation... but always police and anbulances arround very conflictive area. Many homeless walking sleeping and living on the side walk. "
  • Karlayarlin
"Itโ€™s very close to downtown and beach. The public transportation is good. Gets you anywhere in the city. "
  • Amit.netzer
"I live here great place a lot value and god people I enjoy the view and Quiet neighbors most of the properties over here owner occupied Lots of schools around here and public like the trolley and slot of buses Close to downtown and Coronado area great income for Airbnb โ€"
  • Ami E.
"Not the best place to raise a family. there are a lot of shootings, and criminal activity all over the neighborhood. "
  • Erick L.
"party and music on most Saturdays and the rest of the week pretty quiet., homeless not seen often, crime seems low or none."
  • Jackie W.
"Definitely an eclectic mix of people. Good melting pot and opportunity to own a home with a view. Get to know your neighbors and your're all good. Not the scary old LH. "
  • Ami E.
"Fridays community events for teenagers, soccer everyday, street food, police department community events"
  • C.T.
"The Mayor of San Diego has really cleaned this town up! Most of the neighbors are home owners and really care about keeping their property looking good and the yards pretty and well maintained. It is a mixed race community, a lot of different cultures make it fun to talk to your neighbors and have BBQ's and garden parties. Americans originally from Mexico, Italy, Poland, Germany, and Ireland. Those are the neighbors I know and have eaten with. Very cool community. "
  • Jonathan T.
"Nothing. However, it has recently gone and is continue to go through a lot of development. The locals are a mixture of military family, and long time residence. "
  • Diane
"This is an affordable area for first time buyers who wish to buy their first home or return to their Family neighborhood and engage in the change that they want to see. I am blessed to return after 30+ years to the Logan Heights Community. I interact with my neighbors in this family orientated community and feel safe. It's an old neighborhood, bursting with possibilities and hidden charm from years past. Our family home was built in 1925 and my grandparents bought it in 1945 and it's been in our family ever since. I came back home and I am so glad I did. There is no other place I would rather be because the charm never left Logan Heights."
  • Jayromeo B.
"Everyoneโ€™s friendly, grocery in walking distance and lot of amazing street food. Short distance to bay, makes a nice stroll during sunset"
  • Davidgraham664
"Hispanic community with friendly people. Nice Mexican restaurants and it has a nice view of downtown any street that you go."
