The school is the worst in the area. Central has a huge drug issue, more so than any school I've ever encountered. The students also skip so often to where it has become normal for 90% skip at least once a semester. Even the staff are terrible. They tend to avoid any problems that surface, including fights. Staff are encouraged to wait until even punching finishes to punish, if even that.Central is a horrid horrid horrid school.

Well, I am going to be an 8th grader at Longfellow at the end of the month, and I'd have to say that Longfellow is a wonderful school. The teachers are SUPER helpful when it comes to homework or if you need help with anything. We have many extracurricular activies such as band, choir, show choir, volleyball, basketball, football and more. There are many things that I can say that are good there but a couple things that are bad are... It's a split school which means that there is another school in the basement. The other school is a charter school and some of the students and teachers are quite mean to the other people in the building. Another downfall is that we aren't able to carry a backpack around school to help us keep everything together. But that's about it. Like I said before, the teachers and staff there are very helpful with any question you have about anything, you can trust everyone in the building! Hope this helps!!!

State Road Elementary is a fantastic elementary school. We've been impressed with each of the teachers that we've had the privilege of interacting with. It's obvious that these teachers love the kids. They take the time to get to know each of them and are always happy to discuss any issues or concerns with parents. We love sending our kids here.
