I just graduated from John M. and I have to say it's an average school probably. I DO feel safe for the most part. when you come in the people in the office have to unlock the door for you and they don't let just anyone in. the teachers care for the most part although sometimes they cuss in their classes. they teach pretty good and the ones that don't teach good get fired. the only thing is some of them want to just sit and talk about sports or some kind of drama. there is some bullying going on. I believe in 6 grade I got pushed into a locker and I went and told the principle a few days later (I didn't want to at first cause I didn't want to be seen as a "rat") the principle told me that I should have "come and told her sooner" and to "go back to class". so she doesn't care about bullying . if the athletes get bullied yeah they care. there's probably a fight or two every month which isn't bad. overall, the teachers are good at teaching but not good people in general, except Mrs. Blanton (for middle school teachers). the students come and go so it really just depends who you're with. the school is a clean and safe place and we have a wide range of grade school sports.
