"Depending on the building, it’s pretty quiet most days after 5pm. On non-eventful weekends streets are safe enough for morning jogs around the city. There are some unhoused that walk the streets but most are neighborly. "
  • Trulia User
"my friend lived there and she loved it and it was quiet and watch the location cuz it was close to places that you want to go out dinners and stuff dance clubs I loved her apartment! "

  • Trulia User
"I drive in and park. Once parked, I walk to wherever I want to go. Parking is metered until after 5pm, but prices are reasonable. $1 per hour, so short car trips are possible."
  • Trulia User
"I can walk to work easily from where I Live and it’s only 5 minutes. There seems to be a lot of parking in too, if you drive."

  • Abby S.
"I love the downtown east village area. It’s developing like crazy and has so many fun things to go do and see. Perfect for early adulthood. "
  • Jim N.
"It’s a very dog friendly downtown. However dog parks are few and far between. Regardless, people Parks have bags for picking up waste. The only complaint I have has nothing to do with the area. There’s a lot of anxiety stricken dogs feeding off anxiety stricken owners. People simply don’t know how to train them and give them security that they need."
  • Crowpropertyrentals
"We have lived downtown for over 5 years. The revitalization is great. Many new restaurants, hotels, apartments, and bars all with in walking distance."
  • Brown m.
"I work downtown, so my commute to work is only a couple of minutes. I could even walk to work if I wanted to. "
  • Madison T. S.
"The amount of great restaurants, coffee shops and bars near by! Also, the beautiful buildings and architecture."
  • Brown m.
"I love this area because we are close to everything. It is quick and easy to walk to restaurants and night life."
