  • Sara Fadely
"People walk their dogs all the time around the neighborhoods. There’s tons of trails and parks to bring your dogs to!"
  • Tabi
"There are not many sidewalks and people drive fast on the roads so you are very limited where it is safe for you to walk your dog."
  • Jkpinpdx
"I fly so it’s 20 min. to the airport. Sunnyside road can get busy during rush hour. Lots of access to other alternative routes. "
  • Jajohnsonz
"There are coyotes out at night so one must be observant when walking after dark in certain areas of Happy Valley. That’s what happens when greed takes over, wild animals get displaced."
  • Trulia User

There is a really cool rec center for kids more like a swim center down by the old Toys “R” Us and Clackamas town Center. There’s also some pretty good schools around here and some pretty nice parks if you look around."
  • 74jacobneill

  • Carole
"I work with a Management team that supervises two business so my commute is to Milwaukee, Oregon 6 days a week and once weekly to three miles East of Sandy, Oregon. The trip to Sandy is an hour out and an hour back. The trip to Milwaukie is 1/2 hour each way. There is probably bus service between Clackamas to Milwaukee but it would take transfers. I am often caring bookwork and a laptop. There is bus service to Sandy Oregon, but would require several transfers from my location and service does not go beyond Sandy Oregon."
  • Slady
"Great place to live but property taxes are insane and our streets and dark without sidewalks. Where’s the money going?"
  • Amanda K. G.
"Happy Valley is a wonderful community to love in. Many community events are held in Happy Valley Park allowing residents to connect on a social level, which we love!!! "

  • Erinmcdonald17
"It has expansive roads and traffic is rarely bad. We have a huge mall and although it says the schools are good Clackamas High has terrible teachers"
