My son has had a great first year at this school. He really likes his teachers, he’s doing well academically and socially. And I’m very impressed with all the clubs and after school offerings.

This review highlights our experience with the Transitional Kindergarten (TK) class at O.W. Erlewine, where our daughter has joined this year. We are truly impressed by the exceptional level of care and instruction she is receiving. Mrs. Eccles, the lead teacher, brings a wealth of knowledge with her Montessori background, and her kindness creates a nurturing environment for the children. Additionally, her assistant, Ms. Crissy, exhibits remarkable patience and fosters genuine connections with each child, contributing to a warm and supportive classroom atmosphere.The teachers work diligently to provide a diverse array of extracurricular activities that enrich the students' learning experiences. From engaging guest “lecturers” discussing fascinating topics like insects to dance instruction and ample time spent in the garden, these activities foster curiosity and allow the children to explore their interests beyond the standard curriculum.Under their guidance, our daughter has flourished. At just four years old, she has learned to write and read short words, and each day she excitedly comes home eager to share what she has discovered. During my volunteer experiences in the classroom, I observed that all the children demonstrate a similar enthusiasm for learning. The classroom dynamics are excellent; the children are well-behaved and exhibit a positive, caring energy that enhances their educational journey.Overall, we could not be more pleased with our daughter’s progress and the enriching environment provided by Mrs. Eccles and Ms. Crissy. They are truly making a significant difference in the lives of their students.

9/10 of the teachers do not care and even seem bothered to be teaching. Many inconsistencies in "rules" and suboptimal resources and effort for special education.
