6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSchool counselors are not helpful at all, despite leaving numerous messages. IEP's are not followed effectively which is highly concerning. Covid protocol needs to be reevaluated, as my children both had Covid and had zero's in their classes especially PE. The teachers are amazing teachers, that care, Mr. Norman (band), Mr. D (PE-getting kids in shape), and Mr. L, there are many others but these teachers Stand out. There is bullying that goes on especially in the cafeteria however this probably happens at all schools.Parent Review1y ago - Crystal Lakes Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAll in all it has been a good experience. The teachers and staff really care about the children. The admistration is very involved and around, not hiding in an office. The PTA is absolutely amazing and really works for the school and kids to have the best experiences they can. The families all seem to support the school and the fundraising and it really gives you a warm feeling.Get involved, advocate for your kids and it will maybe be the best elementary experience your family will have.Parent Review4mo ago - Park Vista Community High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLearningIn my experience some of the students here at Park Vista just want to pass the classes with high grades rather than learn.TeachingThis school has some teachers who easily get off topic, however many of the teachers strive to keep the classroom on task. Social Emotional SupportPark Vista has counselors at this school that can help students. If there is a fight, or someone starts trouble they will be suspended from school. Special EducationAt this school ESE is excellent in teaching life skills, and reinforces understanding of this complex social world.Safety This school could set times for different grades to go to lunch, and put more seating areas since many students have to sit on the ground. Family EngagementThere is a meet the teachers event at this school where parents can meet their students instructors.Other Review5mo ago - Village Academy On The Art & Sara Jo Kobacker Campus

"Our neighborhood is close to everything. Quite and friendly. Most people have been linking here for years but there are also young families. No block parties or any community gathering, the only day we see people outside is on Halloween. The pool and landscape is nice but it could use a facelift. "
