Read what parents are saying about Christa Mcauliffe Middle SchoolSchool counselors are not helpful at all, despite leaving numerous messages. IEP's are not followed effectively which is highly concerning. Covid protocol needs to be reevaluated, as my children both had Covid and had zero's in their classes especially PE. The teachers are amazing teachers, that care, Mr. Norman (band), Mr. D (PE-getting kids in shape), and Mr. L, there are many others but these teachers Stand out. There is bullying that goes on especially in the cafeteria however this probably happens at all schools.
Posted by a parent on 5/22/2022Worst principal ever. Do not want to submit my name, but my family member was already attacked twice by a student. Principal does nothing. I worry about the safety of the other children. Hard to focus on her work because she's in fear of getting attacked. Horrible environment.
Posted by a parent on 5/19/2022(I had to write this twice because it doesn't save)Reasons why I gave this review a 1.1, Haven't you heard "school is the safest place"? Yeah, this school is on the not-so-safe side. I always hear cursing and teachers don't take care of it. Why? Because they're tired of it they hear it 24/7 and they also do it too. (not most of them) There are things like fights that happen at this school and sometimes no one does anything about it.2. I gave a 1 in Learning because it looks like no one likes to learn at this school which is kinda obvious, I don't either but I still do it.3. I don't know if they have special education because I don't pay attention to that, but I gave a three because they sorta specialize in that.4. I gave a 1 in teaching because teachers aren't perfect, but they kinda have the same rules as the students. Some kids say their teacher doesn't teach very well. Some teachers are amazing and they are great teachers. Others should have got fired already.
Posted by a student on 5/19/2022I'm a 7th grader at this school, and I'm having the time of my life here. There are nice teachers, especially Mrs. Cierpik. The principal is nice but strict. This is the perfect definition of a principal. Some students are weird, but I'm in advanced classes. Some students are smart and are developing their careers. One kid I know sells snacks in my 3rd period as a quick way to make money. The bus drivers are nice, and the teachers ACTUALLY teach, sometimes in interesting ways (Mr Wright, my ELA teacher). Parents in the zone area, send your kids here. My elementary speech teacher said that this is an excellent school, and she sees me in Suncoast High school, 2nd in the county and 128th in national ranking.
Posted by a student on 2/27/2022This is my second review lol. But I wanted to add that this school can be amazing if you can adapt to it. The environment there is not great around the students but most of the teachers are good.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe found this school is very supportive in all ways! Our child moved to this school 3 years ago and we are happy we made this choice. We met a really amazing principal Mrs.Standish. It has not been an easy transition for us, but her & her professional team support and positive attitude have helped pull us through. The principal greets every student in the morning as they enter the building and it`s so lovely to hear she knows every child’s name. The teachers treat all the students very nice and equal. All the teachers help more than others. Great place to enroll your kid!Last September HRE being named an A-rated school , it’s known academically, but has a community feel too! Definitely a great place for a child!Parent Review10mo ago - Indian Pines Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter attended this school from kindergarten to 5th grade and it's been a great experience. No bullying or inappropriate behavior and all the staff and teachers have been kind, respectful and supportive. She's excelled in her school work and she's even commented on the progress she's made which has been great for her confidence. I'm sad that we have to find a new school for her to go to for middle school because I have little confidence that it will live up to the experience we've had here.Parent Review4mo ago - Crystal Lakes Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAll in all it has been a good experience. The teachers and staff really care about the children. The admistration is very involved and around, not hiding in an office. The PTA is absolutely amazing and really works for the school and kids to have the best experiences they can. The families all seem to support the school and the fundraising and it really gives you a warm feeling.Get involved, advocate for your kids and it will maybe be the best elementary experience your family will have.Parent Review4mo ago - Manatee Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagei used to go to this school k-5 and it was genuinely the best school i've been to so far. the teachers are the best unless u get the mean ones but even so they do fun activities to make it better. the food was literally amazing, cheese stuffed crust pizza, beefaroni that was cheesy ash , pasta, macaroni, and even different fruits and veggies. there's also around 3 different food choices to pick from if not more. when i was there the students and teachers where great and nice! they manly got good grades as well.there is different classes like music, art ,pe, science, and guidance, there's more but they where really nice and fun!Parent Review11mo ago - Sunset Palms Elementary School
