5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTransferring to loch Raven for my senior year was pretty nerve wracking, I didn’t know what to expect. First off, the administration is extremely nice and supportive. My counselor is great! The students are pretty chill, except for some of the 9th graders. There are some altercations, but that is to be expected. The teachers are fine, just do your work and your set. I find that in the AP classes, teachers put in more effort; there is less computer work in those classes. The cafeteria food isn’t good, but it isn’t terrible, then again it’s free. Loch Raven offers qualifying students to do duel enrollment with CCBC free of charge- super happy about that. Overall, this is a pretty good small public high school.Student Review1mo ago - Oakleigh Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWorst school experience for my daughter with special needs. Communication problems with teachers and staff and problems fulfilling medical needs for child. Never got proper equipment to care for child. Virtual school was a joke unprofessional and not presented well at all!Parent Review2y ago - Pine Grove Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son just started attending this school. He's in 6th grade and has never had an issue with anyone in this school. He's always gone to very high rated schools until we moved into this area. The teachers in this school have been there a long time and are just wonderful, especially Mrs. Adams. The Vice Principal, Mrs. DePasquale is very attentive to all of her students!Parent Review1mo ago - Check out schools near 8663 Black Oak Rd.

"it's low income housing which I'm moving soon , but it's not unique at all it's the struggle low poverty area they try to maintain it but if u ask me I think everyone here should be directed elsewhere where and be forced to work and be self sufficient the people here are carefree have no real means to do better outside of myself. I do not recommend this area to no one and the violence has escalated "
