About this House

I have a furnished bedroom for rent starting May 1st, 2025 (ALL BILLS INCLUDED). Very close to BEST BUY HEADQUARTERS, Normandale College, and Northwestern Health Sciences University! I am looking for one person only. Each room is rented to a single person (no couples) and it is not a house for entertaining or to have guests over. The whole place is furnished so you would only need your bedroom belongings. It has a big closet. I'm looking for someone laid back, not loud, would keep common areas clean, and would not have people over. This home works best for those who can easily integrate with a well-established home environment. The tenants who currently live at my home are quiet, clean, non-party people who all live their own separate lives and mesh well together.

A non-smoker is a must and also employed full time outside of the home or in school, will clean up after yourself, and can pay your rent on time every month. It will be important to be compatible as we will be living together and I believe home should be a quiet, restful place that is relaxing to be in. I know that I would be most compatible with someone who is educated. Male, female, or non-binary, GLBTQ, any age the main thing is that you are a kind, responsible, trustworthy, and easy-going person.

The location is really what makes this place a desirable place to live. Within a 1 mile radius there's grocery stores, fast food restaurants, Target, gas stations, and the bus stop is right around the corner! Upper and Lower Penn Lakes are a couple blocks away and Hwys. 494 and 35W are only a couple miles away.

You need prior rental or verifiable personal references, a reliable verifiable job, and be able to pay rent on time. I will be doing a background/employment check at my expense. Rent is $800 with a $800 security deposit paid in full prior to move in - 6 month lease to start, we can talk about lease terms or month to month after that.     "It’s a nice, quiet neighborhood and you can walk your dog without worrying about a lot of traffic. Neighbors are always out in their yards so it’s very easy to meet people. We do have a Fox in the neighborhood and have had coyotes in the past. There are also bald eagles around as well as hawks. If you have a small dog or cat you won’t want to leave them outside by themselves. There have been a few dogs and cats that have been taken. "
