I made a few friends but besides that had it not been for my parents teaching me at home I would know NOTHING! I remember teachers cursing at us, putting their heads down on their desk while the class run wild & just literally walking out & letting kids fight! My experience was terrible! I was glad for my time here as a student to be over & I hear it’s gotten WORST! I hear like half of the school is abandoned & falling apart! A complete disrespect to the children of that area! You’re treated like a throw away of you don’t live in an expensive area n Philadelphia & it’s sad! The thing tolerate at this school would NEVER be at a school in an expensive area & that is just not right! ALL kids deserve a good education w/ teachers who care about them & make them feel safe & good about themselves!!! Right now I’m paying rediculous rent for my kids to go to a school rated 9/10 on here because my husband & I know what it’s like to go to a 2/10 just because of where our parents lived! "I’ve lived here for two years. Frequent gunshots, property damage and open/daily drug deals. The neighbors who have been here for years are very sweet but the people who don’t live here who pass through cause trouble especially in the spring/summer. We mostly stay indoors past 6pm. "
