About this House

Very nice condo for rent in Carlsbad Crest. It's a 2 story with single car garage included plus free additional parking. Overall, it has a great feel to it with a lot of windows with plantation shutters on most and all new painting throughout the condo. The flooring wood on the first floor and carpeting on the second floor. The upstairs bathroom has a skylight and is one of the nicest stone showers you'll probably see. The kitchen is the best feature its big, has updated cabinets, granite counters and all kitchen-aid appliances. This condo has central A/C and heat plus a fireplace in the family room and main bedroom. All the bedroom walk-in closets have a lot of shelves and clothing racks. It's a detached 1-garage and has a lot of storage cabinets. Includes washer and dryer. It's a great neighborhood to walk around, very quiet, plenty of parking, mostly young or retired couples and it's close to Pacific Rim elementary school. Easy walk to Poinsettia Park, the lagoon and South Carlsbad Beach.

Unit available starting 10/17. Minimum lease term is 12 months. The basic process I follow is a free online application first, then if selected move to $55 background check and lease review/signing.

Tennant responsible for water, electricity and any internet/cable services. Owner responsible for Trash and Recycling. Will consider small dogs and cats.

    "1 minute from freeway onramp. Easy access to the 5. Shopping center is 1/4 mile away and the beach is 5 minutes away. Most everyone in n the area take really good care of their places and when I get home from work in the evening I love to take a swim and jacuzzi in the pool. "

    "The HOA at Alta Mira I does not like kids. They threaten to fine you if they ride bikes, skate boards, climb on trees, have fun, etc. They also hate dogs. They constantly threaten to fine everyone for the simplest of things, including letting them pee on a neighbors front yard...yes, front yard. There are a lot of nice people here, but the HOA is run by a bunch of grumpy old people that complain and want to fine everyone. Also, there is no parking. On trash day, the trash cans take up the entire street parking. Everyone begins to fight each other for street space, not only in the cul de sacs, but the entire community. This place was not set up for families to live at all. With all that said, its typically quiet and pretty safe. Just know that to use any of the common areas, while publicly encouraged, is secretly not popular as these people seem to want to put fines out there for everything. Don't take my word for it...Just ask for a copy of the most recent HOA news letter and you will see exactly what I am talking about."
