If they perceive your child will make it more challenging for them you will feel like you’re being pushed out. There is bullying that certain students know how to get away with. We have never found the curriculum/homework to be demanding, and I am personally surprised each year when the children do so well on their state exams. It really comes down to the quality of the instruction from the tea

You can tell by the way they interact with them, the curriculum they teach, and the way they carry themselves everyday. I think that the new director, Max seems to be doing very well so far, which is a relief given the amount of transition that has gone on their. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have have been at Discovery Isle now for 3 years with 2 children. The learning environment, teacher consistency and the overall school have dramatically been better with the arrival of the new principal Cheryl in 2012. The ciriculum has always been great -- they do a great job teaching communication skills (sign language, English & Spanish, manners, reading & writing ) math, arts, etc. that you do not see elsewhere in a preschool and K environment. Sports and music are extracurriculars they offer for a small extra fee. Miss Geraldine and Miss Morgan have been really great to our children and their development.
