6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageUnfortunately the public perception of this school is different than the professional practice. State board of education guidelines and research based Instructional practices are either not understood or blatantly ignored. Instructional strategies are disjointed and lack effetive structure, fidelity to "adopted" curriculum in rate, and effectively matching student's needs to instructional practices is guess work. Simply look at student development and test scores to see the lack of progress.Teacher Review1y ago - Cascade Junior High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCascade is an awesome school. The classes help us grow, and I particularly love the Spanish classes. My Spanish teacher is Ms. Lee, who is a wonderful woman who cares for her students, but always keeps us in order. We have lots of fun in her class, and she makes learning the language fun and easy to remember. Mr. Reinhardt is also an amazing teacher who has dedicated himself to helping us students exceed and flourish during our high school experience. Overall, Cascade is an awesome school with great staff.Other Review9y ago - Cascade Senior High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCascade High School gave me the skills to jump right into the college atmosphere at Western Oregon University. The AP classes, Advanced English classes, as well as the Independent Art Classes have helped me academically as a Visual Communication Design Major. Resources were provided such as monthly scholarship updates my senior year. The counselors were always willing to work with you on your goals/aspirations when you asked. Also, the process of the exit interview was VERY helpful in assisting me to get the student leadership/ job opportunities that have sustain me through college. I will be a graduate with my BA in design in June, 2013. This would not have been possible without the inclusive learning environment that Cascade provides. The attitude and dedication from the teachers and staff from Cascade help students gain confidence in themselves.Student Review10y ago - Check out schools near 850 N 10th Pl.

"Driving to Salem is not an issue at all. You can get to Aurora in 35-40 minutes from my driveway, and to bridge in wilsonville in 40-50 minutes depending on traffic. Most days you can get to anywhere in Portland in 60-80 minutes each way. Just depends on the day. Aumsville to Eugene is an hour and 6 minutes. Aumsville to Lincoln City is around 90 minutes. You can get to sisters in 2 hours and bend in 2 and a half of so. It’s a great location for traveling. "
