The parents are very involved and the care and attention this school gets is reflected in the culture and atmosphere to be found at Pacheco. The school requires parents to pay $600 upfront to cover the cost of the annual field trips. There is not a lot of allowance for lower income students to attend this school. The teachers and most of all, the principal, struggle to help students who need extra help and provide required accommodations. "I work within walking distance of my home so my commute is easy. San Luis has pockets of homes and businesses. There is a down town area. I live away from that. Traffic is increasing and can be an issue at the end of the day. There is a bus stop however buses are infrequent. "
