10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEvery school has its pros and cons. The academics, athletics, extracurriculars, school spirit, and administrative support are very good. The school board is also excellent. It can be a very 'clicky' social environment and my child did struggle socially. My son says that compared to his last school, the typical kid here struggles emotionally because of divorced parents resulting in regular drug use (mostly pot). The school's mental health team is excellent. Covid/remote work was really rough on my kid, but he got through it and is doing well at GBHS.Parent Review6mo ago - Greenhills Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreenhills is exceptional. I've had kids here for 5 years and loved every minute of it. The tone starting with the principal down to every employee is one of caring and common sense. No politics getting in the way of doing the right thing here. Bullying is strongly discouraged and therefore virtually non-existent. Troublemakers are being dealt with by the principal himself. Parent participation is very welcome. Academics are very strong. The multi-age program is fantastic and with its buddy system builds character. If you're deciding between here and Oakhills, Greenhills is by far the better school, no contest (just ask subs that sub in the entire district and can objectively compare schools). The teachers are better, more motivated and the tone is much less bureaucratic than Oakhills.Parent Review6y ago - Ridgeview Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNo joke. A typical day at Ridgeview involves several hours of Chromebook play time. Yaay. Greatschools needs to catch up with reality at Ridgeview. There are 34 kids per teacher, not 24. This has been the case the past 3 years. Not because there are too many kids in Granite Bay, but because the school pulls kids from other districts to pad their income. Your child cannot be effectively taught with 34 kids in an elementary classroom. They will be babysat, at best, and then mostly by being allowed to play games on their chromebooks while wearing headphones.Parent Review7mo ago - Willma Cavitt Junior High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat school and principal. The teachers seem to enjoy teaching at this school. Beautiful small campus with lots of trees. Not as rowdy as other junior highs. Very well run school.Parent Review1mo ago - Check out schools near 8461 Sun View Cir.
