The current leader of the school does a poor job of keeping kids safe, has a high staff turnover rate, is losing students to other schools like nobody's business and according to several current students, plays favorites amongst the staff. 8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has great facilities: wonderful library, big open cafeteria, great playground, large classrooms, newly xeriscaped front landscaping, and pleasant kid-friendly hallways. My kids had good experiences in learning and making friends here and they had some terrific teachers (with one exception). The school also has after-school programs, both daycare and enrichment, and opens up the facilities for community groups for kids like scouting. Prospective parents should not hesitate to get involved with the PTA, volunteer in the library, and participate in school activities like the balloons and burritos breakfast, jog-a-thon, geography bee, and Missoula Theater plays. I didn’t correctly pick up on the temperaments of certain staff and ruffled feathers unbeknownst to me. "Heritage Hills is a very nice neighborhood. Close to parks, restaurants, 5 grocery stores, 2 pharmacies and lots of other facilities. Great walking and bike trails Lots of families. Great neighborhood for all age groups from young families through retirees. Homes, for the most part, are well kept and nicely maintained. Schools in the vicinity are some of the best in Central new Mexico. Highly recommend Heritage Hills is a great place to live and raise a family."

"This is an excellent neighborhood, close to shopping and very good neighbors. We love this house and our neighbors. It is in La Cueva School District. Shopping close by. We are on a corner lot with a quiet street and relaxing back yard. We have not had problem with crime at our house. Lots of people walk by our house for exercise or to walk their dogs. There are parks nearby. There is plenty of parking in driveway and on street. The bus stop is only a few blocks away. Neighborhood is clean and Neighborhood Watch is active. Short drive to restaurants, and parks. Very little traffic in neighborhood. Streets are clean. "
