Description
This property is no longer available to rent or to buy. This description is from March 24, 2022
This home is on the west side of Chico, within about a mile of the CSUC Campus, in a pleasant neighborhood with an HOA that maintains the beauty of this unique neighborhood with landscaping, speed bumps, and green space. You can leave the traffic noise behind, when you pull into Victorian Park Drive, and turn into your small, Morninghome Court. With just a few neighbors, life can be more laid back and comfortable. Most homes in this part of the neighborhood are two story homes with a classic look. The homes are large enough to feel good and the yards are small enough to maintain. Just a few blocks away you will enjoy a good selection of restaurants, grocery, and convenience stores. This property has a lot to offer. Downstairs, this home has nice paint and pretty, solid surface flooring. The living room features a wood stove on a brick hearth. The dining area is open to both the living room and the kitchen. This kitchen is complete with tile counters, plenty of cabinets and drawers, a dishwasher, microwave, a flat-top gas stove, an oven, and a refrigerator! The master bedroom is downstairs with a full, downstairs bathroom. Walk up the classic staircase and enjoy the soft carpeting that goes up thru the second floor. You will see there are 3 more rooms up here. All of these rooms enjoy quaint dormer windows, ceiling lights and fans, and each room has two closets. This is a 3-bedroom home. So, one of the 3 upstairs rooms should be a second living room, or a study room, or a playroom, anything other than a 4th bedroom. Each room has two of their own closets. Of course, there is a full bathroom upstairs. There is a hall closet with a new HVAC unit in it, that was just installed last Nov. And downstairs there is an attached garage with washer, dryer, new water heater and a wall of storage cupboards. Very few nice Chico homes are this inexpensive, look online, to see what I mean! The house needs paint and the yard needs tending. If you know how to paint and pretty up a place, you can get a good deal on this one. These busy sellers want to walk away without doing outside, yard clean up maintenance, painting etc. Contractors are mostly way too busy building in Paradise to come do simple repairs in Chico. As you know, Spring time is a very busy time to get a house. And there is very little housing inventory this Spring! Come-on, take a good look and then let’s make a deal - a good deal for you AND an easy deal for these sellers!

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible special education teacher Holly Gutierrez. Tara Towne-Robins is unhelpful, rude and loves to nitpick, instead of lifting a finger to help. Attendance is an absolute mess. I took my child out as soon as possible. Everyone there is passive aggressive and expects you to read their minds, but never actually contact you and let you know what’s going on. Also, make sure you sign EVERYTHING, even optional documents or they threaten you. My child was so stressed she became Ill.Parent Review1y ago - Chico High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAbsolutely horrible school. They have no one communicating with each other. The counselors are MIA and never call amyone back. Same goes for the principals and the front desks. The only one that will ever call back is the attendance person (pfcourse because if the kids dont show up the school doesnt get funded) which is why im honeschooling now. Oroville High is much much better. They should be ashamed of themselves.Parent Review5mo ago - Rosedale Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageRosedale is amazing. I don't know why the whole of Chico doesn't send their children there. My son started in Kindergarden so I'm not sure about starting in later grades but starting in Kindergarden all the children work and learn together. I saw how they built a strong foundation in reading in Spanish and it translated to English almost instantly. All of a sudden my son was reading in English too- incredible. The teachers are caring and helpful. They have high expectations that are easily met by the students. I think sometimes we underestimate what our children can do. They have tutors if needed. My son went to school here K-2 and then we had to move. The main thing we miss about Chico is Rosedale- I wish I could find a school like this where we live now. We miss the teachers, friends, activities and learning too. I highly recommend this school!!!! Love you Rosedale!Parent Review5y ago - Emma Wilson Elementary School

"Area is very pet friendly. Lots of people walking their dogs but not too much foot traffic. Night walks not suggested because of low visibility and some high vehicle traffic by main roads"
