"This is a hidden gem of a neighborhood. Particularly near Rock and Bowl. You can still buy large 3/4 bedroom houses for less than 350 and be very close to uptown as well as highway/and old Metairie. More and more houses seem to be getting fixed up so the secret is out. Areas around Pritchard and Fontainblue are very nice. "

"This area is so close to everything Nola has to offer.Two blocks away from streetcar and main avenues. Pharmacy,grocery,bank,fast foods, restaurants are all 5 minutes away walking.Very little noise. I have been here 10 years, and it gets nicer every day!"

"I live here. House is directly across from Stuart Hall (non-entry side) so the area is well maintained. No noise, whatsoever during summer months when school is closed; only cheerful children playing for 10 minutes in the morning M-F during school year. "
