This school values customer service for its students and parents. There is always something good going on at the school. The teachers there seem very engaged with student success.

My son goes here and he absolutely loves it the teacher he has and has had are always so nice I have messaged them with concerns about homework, recess time or info and they always respond within that day as well as when my son has missed school they contact me to make sure everything is okay , the principal depaolo is super welcoming and very communicative, I am ready glad with the staff and all they do for the kids

My Son is a 6 Grader there and We had tried to sign him up for Soccer. I called in the 10th they said it's the last day for sign up. They said just sign up online. I go to sign up online finish the application press complete and the system kept giving different error messages. it kept saying names don't match but they did clearly. Me working on Computers and Training plus being A+ I No when I get a system error message that it's system trying to connect at that time. So after Completed the whole application 5 times and press complete I realized I would have to call them. I Called no answer back. I Tried them early that morning the 11th Athletic department lady did not return my call all day. I tried the second half of the day left a message no reply. Then I had to wait until next tried again they sent me to same ladies voicemail. I called back and said That Athletic is not there or just not returning my message? Then they said she's been there the whole time. Then She said oh I see she got your messages but we weren't even gonna back you need to say more on the message not just your phone and your name and your kids name. We don't even Call back if you don't say enough! I said well on the answering machine it ask specifically to leave those 3 things. She Said Does it say that? I said that's exactly what it ask for. She said oh will I will tell her she needs to request more information. I said Ok. Then She tried to login and she couldn't get it to work website was not working for her I was on phone like 45minutes waiting for her to figure out why it wasn't working for her either. Then Just hung up. I waited maybe I got disconnected figuring I know they have phone number good would call back. I waited for the to call back 20 minutes no reply. I called back and she said oh we're glad you called back. Your right it's not working we're gonna back as soon as we can get in or it's. Then she called back and said it's fixed now we're not gonna help even though it wasn't work your late we can't help. Her name is Thana Very rude and bad customer service. Now my kid can't play because the system wasn't working.

Education: For me, I'm not too disappointed with the education I got as an AP/IB student. The upper level teachers are pretty motivated and supportive (especially the AP STEM department), and have helped me achieve admission into my reach schools. As for the Honors/Regular coursework experience, I've heard horror stories of teachers openly allowing students to fail, not showing up to class, making weird sexual remarks, and disappearing midway through the year. Administration: Yikes. There's one person in the upper administration who publicly shames the students, pretty much harassing them for minor faults like dress code, jogging around (4 minute passing time for such a big campus is pretty diabolical), and just having harmless play with friends. I honestly AVOIDED them like the black plague and everyone else did too, except the kids that purposely tried to get on their good side. The other admins are pretty cool, I got to know them while I did office aide and they're generally good people. Many don't like the principal, but I think she is just fine.Social: In my experience, the social culture is a hit or miss. Generally speaking, the kids aren't very open minded. Your best bet of finding your friends is to join a group of some sort (sport/music/arts/etc) in freshman year. Very cliquey. I found that its quite easy to get singled out, it often feels like you know everyone but majority of the time, they're emotionally unavailable. For the amount of people at this school, you'll only find a very select few to socially connect with. OVERALL: Palo wasn't the worst, but definitely not the best. I've had good and bad times, and have made memories I'll forever cherish here, but if I were to reel back time, would I choose it again? Most likely not.
