9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeacher/student ratio after pandemic is 1/21 up to 1/27 (depending on the grade). After pandemic the principal was replaced and, unfortunately, it is not working as it used to with the prior 3 principals I was honored to meet and have my kids attending school with. Choice program is IT more than it is pre-business (as they market it). Very sad to see how an excellent school is turned into an OK school.Parent Review1y ago - Boca Raton Community Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son transferred from Eastern PA and is now finishing his second year at Boca Raton Community MS. From his registration to class assignments the school administrators were extremely helpful. He took advanced courses in all subjects except for computer science which he found unchallenging. The school has great teachers for most subjects with notable mention going out to Dr. Gwen D'Amico for Civics, Ms. Ghazarian and Ms. Fraguela Cuesta for Math and Honors Algebra. They are exceptional and dedicated teachers. The Music teacher and band director Mr. Richard Powali is phenomenal. He does an "over and above" excellent job with three bands, producing multiple concerts each semester. His work is just amazing and I cannot thank him enough. The Principal Lisa Lee is on top of things and is always present even for the late evening band concerts. Overall I think BRCMS has been a great school for my son and his siblings will likewise attend. If more freedom is allowed in selecting electives and the Computer Sciences coursework for advanced student is improved BRCMS will have my five stars !Parent Review3w ago - Village Academy On The Art & Sara Jo Kobacker Campus

"I grew up in what is now the village of Palmetto Bay down in Miami-Dade County. My children went to the public schools in that same area. The area we lived in was very safe and quiet. Boca Raton is on par with that old neighborhood, but without the Miami traffic and crowds."

"Traffic for the most part is very light. Rush hour is never out of control, & dissipates quickly. Heading West in the evening rush hour is probably as bad as it gets, but it’s a welcome relief for someone that moved here from Miami. Miami is the absolute worst!!!"

"As a former dog owner who picked up after her dog I would like to see my neighbors do the same. They love living here because they don’t adhere to the by- laws of weight restrictions on dogs and since they are not enforced, we have a neighbor with a mastiff living here and other dogs over 20 pounds."
