7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI will start out with the positives. The school in new and astiticly pleasing. Close to the freeway and easy to access. The Math teacher are very communitive. As far as down falls. The front office will never answer the phone if you call. They only way you have a 50% chance of contacting days later someone is leaving a message or going up to the school. The enrollment for a new student is long, dismissive and Counselors are to busy to check on the children that are not absurdly disruptive. The staff looks the part but are more worried about their own job & kids than the students/family's in the school and will smile & lie to your face assuming the next staff member will address concerns. They have sneaky strict rules that are not made aware to the students or parents, as if all children are criminals. The athletic department doesn't communicate well with parents, as they are also too busy. They are more worried about numbers than children's safety, growth or wellbeing. The principal Mrs. Garcia is a parent of a child oft he same age but has zero understanding, Compassion or empathy for anyone but her self. The school is unsafe to the point they are now installing metal detectors and your child may be followed home and jumped. Don't believe the hype!Parent Review2mo ago - Midway Park Elementary School
