FULLY FURNISHED, charming 1940's wine country cottage, with many original features including hardwood floors throughout (except bathroom), original cabinets, and decorative scalloped crown moulding. The vintage "shell" is complemented with a professional Viking Dual-Fuel Stove, and modern and mid-century modern furniture.
The cottage has two bedrooms and one bathroom, though the second bedroom is set-up as an office. It does have a pull-out couch that might be used for a quick visit, but the office is not appropriate for long-term sleeping purposes. King Bed in main bedroom.
The property is surrounded by beautiful mature oak trees, and has a charming covered back porch that overlooks a generous flagstone patio with a hot tub. Located in a special neighborhood in the eastern edge of Boyes Hot Springs that harkens back to the original weekend Sonoma cottages, an eight-minute drive south to the Sonoma Plaza, and 10 minutes north to wineries and restaurants in Glen Ellen and on into Kenwood. Two minutes to local restaurants (including the popular El Molino Central), shops, and the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn (spa day passes available through the Fairmont).
Note that there is a modern looking window air conditioning unit available for use in the summer months (it is located in the living/dining room area), though it is usually only needed in the afternoon when temps are 90 degrees and above (the cottage stay pleasant if the shades are managed properly, even when the temperature is in the 80s).
And bonus: authentic 80's Galaga Arcade game with Pacman (and other games) in garage free for guests to use!

We are so impressed when he reads us a book in Spanish and the fact that he reads just as well in English is amazing. Have said before that the atmosphere at Flowery is truly a sunny one and we always look forward to a visit when we are in town. This school model is needed everywhere. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur experience at this school could not have been much worse. Leadership practices selective enforcement, is unwilling or worse yet, unable to tackle serious issues between students and doesn’t. Sweeps bullying under the rug, students and parents do not feel they are heard or circled back to or when reporting incidents. Creating a pattern where reporting to teachers or leadership results in little to nothing; thus teaching this age group to not bother to trust in any process in place. Parents kept at a distance and if you dare advocate for your student, you are simply put on their list to avoid. Academics are delivered to a minimum standard with little challenge and or real preparation for anything other then the sub par offer that is Sonoma high. My student floated through academically getting A’s on sub par work. School doesn’t even send correct report cards, issues mis calculated GPA’s and doesn’t correct their mistakes, leaving students scores incorrect and under rewarded and with little accountability or apology; while educators don’t even bother to use the comments section to say a word. This school has more reaction to a student missing school and that CA stipend they don’t receive for an absence then it does to anything else. This is simply a mill to process this age group only and is under serving its students emotionally, educationally and socially across the board.An embarrassing offer for the families of Sonoma.Parent Review3y ago
