5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is the WORST SCHOOL I have ever been to. The principal said “ I hope you’re the class that gets shot”. Who would ever say that?? One of the teacher pushed a chair almost into another kid while trying to get a kid who was passing notes. If you had to leave in Pennsylvania in Jim Thorpe, I would go to the LB. Morris school. There are only a select few teachers that I actually like that aren’t mean. The administration doesn’t do anything for bullying, except blame the person that is in the right and not in the wrong. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had one child attend and graduate from Jim Thorpe School district from K-12. My youngest started in Kindergarten and going into 9th grade this year. I have never had any issues with the education programs, teachers, or facility. The teachers genuinely care about their students and go above and beyond their expected job descriptions. The faculty is excellent, very attentive to issues and questions when they arise. Highly recommend this school district especially compared to the surrounding districts.Parent Review2y ago
