I feel pretty safe around here for the most part and there is just about anything and everything that you can think of to eat at or shop at..one strip has it all."

The schools are good and overall the Belton/Raymore area is family-friendly. There are plenty of conveniences, but the one thing I wish there were more of is decent restaurants. There are a lot of fast food places, but not really much for sit down places with any kind of atmosphere. The parks and rec do a great job and the community center is really nice."
