    "I do happen to live here but new and old neighbors agree that this is a pretty special slice of Long Island. An extremely safe and caring community nestled off the beaten path. Surrounded by nature via land and sea with a nice quaint little town with great shops and restaurants plus an excellent theater that equals anything on Broadway only a short drive away. Public transportation is the only downside. Train station is about 15 min. away with commuter parking; local buses do run but I'm not familiar with that system. A great place to raise kids or just a nice couples retreat, part-time or year-round. "
