"Lots of people walk their dogs in neighborhoods. A handful of nice dog parks. Handful of open spaces with specific areas you can let your dog off leash. Unfortunately not everyone respects this rule so I’ve seen awful situations where some dogs are on leash and some are not. The dogs on leash are threatened because they’re leashed and bad situations arise. Also, many people don’t clean up after their dogs. Disrespectful and entitled people exist. This area is not immune to that. "

"It’s chill. Peaceful. But lots of transient traffic. So don’t keep anything in your car, and life will be good. No violent crime, no need to fear getting robbed, just homeless off Bart breaking into cars"

"Neighbors look out for each other and help each other. Excellent grocery store w fresh products and good parking. WC open space is great for nature hikes and mountain biking. Neighborhood is close to BART and freeway. Great trauma center nearby at John Muir Hospital. COPA indoor soccer training center is close and amazing for kids and adult leagues. Heather Farm park is great w swim center soccer and softball fields. "

"Lived in WC for nearly 8 years.. it is truly the gem of the East Bay. Close to the city, lots of trails and hiking spots. Shopping cant be beat and restaurants are as much quality as variety. "
