*** Rare opportunity alert *** Awesome Oella home!*** This exceptionally appealing home was remodeled “down to the studs” in 2013. Updated & upgraded throughout, it has one of the best yards in the community and plenty of parking (including 1 deeded space)! There’s a nice, big view from the refurbished covered front porch (with room for a swing) and the floorplan is open, with plenty of natural light. The Living Room is offset, which is great because it allows for plenty of seating around the decorative mantel and built-ins. The Kitchen has been fully remodeled with high-end white cabinets, granite countertops, stainless appliances, and a breakfast bar. There’s a convenient pass-through to the spacious “Great Room” addition that was designed with a vaulted ceiling, oversized windows that provide light and wonderful wooded views, hardwood flooring, custom lighting, and an exposed beam. A side entry provides access to the patio & backyard. Appealing details include the sidelights & transom treatment around the front door, decorative mantels, gorgeous heart pine floors, exposed brick, and period trim. The 2nd level features a wonderful “Primary” Bedroom that’s large enough to fit a king-size bed. There’s a nice size closet, an exposed brick wall, and a decorative mantel that add historic appeal. The full Bath on this level has been fully remodeled with a walk-in shower and a granite vanity top. There is private access to the Bath from the Primary Bedroom as well as access from the hall. On the 3rd level, you’ll find a large Bedroom with a vaulted ceiling & exposed brick wall. A dormer adds extra light & architectural interest. Because it feels so private, this room would make a fabulous guest room, studio, or office. The lower-level features include a Bedroom and a Utility/Storage/Laundry Room. The Bedroom has hardwood flooring, a closet, and a nicely appointed, attached Full Bath. The private outside entrance opens to a brick patio. This room would work very well for a Home Office, a roommate, or guests. Stepping outside, you’re likely to be surprised at the size of the yard. One of the biggest and most usable in the community, it’s a nature lovers' delight. In fact, you’re very likely to see perennials blooming and hear birds singing during your visit! There's plenty of room for gardening, playing, and hosting "get-togethers" with family & friends. The backyard is fully fenced, with a patio and steps that access a terraced upper area and additional, public parking. Wondering about the small building in the middle of the yard? It's an old outhouse Talk about charm! : ) You'll love this great location, deep in the heart of Oella, convenient to hiking trails, the river, Ellicott City and Catonsville shops & restaurants, Patapsco State Park, Roger Carter Center, and more. Don’t miss out on this great home!

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is my child's first year here. There appears to be a lack of effort towards acknowledging and making strides to improve diversity and the stigma of bias engulfing the school environment. There are some select teachers that truly go above and beyond however overall instructors don't seem motivated to improve the development of all children equally. This shows in the classroom and throughout extra-curricular programs. I really was excited to give my child a unique opportunity like I had growing up but this institution doesn't seem to be able to provide it without bias. The school does have a lot of special school programs available and fellow students seem to be welcoming. This feedback was also shared by past students I met who attended here prior to my child attending.Parent Review1y ago - Westchester Elementary School
